Rigel Bioenviron Solutions is an innovation-led environmental technology company transforming organic waste into high-value sustainable products. With patented waste-to-PHA bioplastic technology and an integrated biorefinery platform, Rigel converts waste into Bio-CNG, bioplastics, biofertilizers, and energy. Supported by government-funded innovation and deep engineering expertise, Rigel delivers scalable, circular, and net-zero solutions.
The founding team of Rigel comprises engineers and RD experts having prior experience in delivering large scale biotechnology projects as well as scientific achievements. Rigel covers concept to commissioning – engineering project management consultancy services to various industries and are associated with various OEMs to provide end to end one stop solutions. At Rigel we design, engineer, and oversee the construction, erection, and commissioning of state-of-the-art process systems that optimize capital efficiency while maximizing operational performance. Through strategic international technology collaborations, Rigel integrates proven global innovations with strong local execution capabilities.
Rigel delivers these solutions under a single-point responsibility model, backed by the collective strength of our design and project teams, who together bring over five decades of hands-on experience in process design, turnkey delivery, and detailed engineering of bio-process plants.
We take the pride to be awarded by Bio-Technology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Department of Biotechnology, Government of India in July 2020 as one of the Grantee for Prestigious BIG16 Funding in Industrial Biotechnology for an innovative technology commercial scale up to produce Bioplastics from Agro Industrial Wastewaters. This innovation is patent protected and has been highly appreciated by various international scientific publications as well as in European Bio Plastics Conference 2020.
