EXECUTED LARGE WATER/WASTEWATER INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS
Team Rigel executed project management and detailed engineering works for large-scale projects, having collaborated with leading consultants such as CET (SAIL), MECON, M.N. Dastur & Company, DCPL, Tata Consulting Engineers, and Mott MacDonald.
The team has also worked with system integrators and technology specialists including on Exchange Waterleau, GE Water/ SWEZ, World Water Works USA, Premier Tech Canada, ECOTEX Mexico among others.
Executed Design Engineering services to EPC clients
- 1. Alternate Water System for Drawal of Raw Water from River Damodar Project of capacity 20000 cum per hour pumping associated with 5 KM cross country piping at an elevation upto 65 m.
- End User: Bokaro Steel Plant, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), India
- SAIL Consultant: Centre for Engineering Technology, SAIL, Ranchi, India
- EPC Contractor: HN Construction Pvt. Ltd., Bokaro, India
This was a fast-track project monitored by Center for Engineering & Technology (CET), Ranchi. The scope includes:
- Complete process, basic and detailed engineering in river hydrology,
- Intake structure, pump house – civil & structural designing
- 33 KV substation & 11 KV substation along with associated buildings
- Switchgears, panels, automatic control systems,
- Various types of cranes, gates, bar screens, rotary screen etc.
- 1400 mm and 1000 mm piping including valves, actuators and other accessories,
- Total 4 numbers of pumps of capacity 5000 cum per hour each and motor 1700 KW each.
- All associated vendor drawings checking and getting approval from CET
Executed STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING project outside India
Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) for end client ECOTEK, Mexico for one of their steel palletisation plants at Honduras, South America. Total flow of flue gas is 6 lakh Nm3/hr with sulphur content of around 400 mg/l to be scrubbed to meet environmental pollution norms of the said country. This is one of the prestigious projects for Rigel as FGD technology is an high-end process engineering.
- End User: ECOTEK, Mexico for their palletisation plant at Honduras
- EPC Contractor: Whirlwind Corporation, Mumbai.
The scope includes:
- Complete process, basic and detailed engineering – FGD absorber tower,
- Auxiliary Building structure, pumps & house – civil & structural designing
- Electricals along with associated buildings
- Lime Handling System, associated piping, material conveying etc.
- Switchgears, panels, automatic control systems,
- Various types of cranes, Hydro-cyclone, Sludge Dewatering system etc.
- Effluent Treatment system and recycling,
- All associated vendor drawings checking and getting approval from end client
