In Water/ Wastewater systems, Rigel is having experience working with renowned consultants like CET (SAIL), MECON, M.N. Dastur, DCPL, TCE, Mott McDonalds, etc. and system integrators/ specialists like Ion Exchange, Waterleau, GE Water/ SWEZ, World Water Works, USA, Premier Tech, Canada, ECOTEX, Mexico, to name a few. RIGEL on its own capacity have designed and engineered 480 MLD Water Pumping & 5 KM Cross Country Pipeline project for H.N. Construction Pvt. Ltd., Bokaro for their project at Bokaro Steel Plant.

RIGEL is also in Environmental Impact Assessment & Management Study, Detailed Project Report (DRP) preparation works. We are part of a prestigious water balance study project for Allahabad City, along with Geovale Services, Kolkata, contributing for analysis of impact of nutrient and metabolic water quality parameters and energy balance in the water supply and distribution system. This is one of the pioneering works in India for water quality assessment.
Executed Industrial ETP Recycle & Waste to Wealth Project
- Project for Zero Liquid Discharge WWTP of 800 KLD for a 100% Export oriented slaughter house at Vishakhapatnam with state of the art MBR, UF and RO systems.
End User: Vizac Food Pvt. Ltd., Vishakhapatnam
The scope includes:
- Complete process and basic engineering for the Effluent Recycle System,
- Studying existing ETP and short comings of the same, feasibility report for optimum Recycle.of the treated wastewater.
- Flow measurement and water balance analysis.
- Upgradation and optimization of existing UASB System
- Upgradation and optimization of the existing aeration tanks with nutrient removal system.
- Revamping of the existing filtration system tanks for New MBR and RO system implementation.
- Comparison of MBR system vs UF system
- Switchgears, panels, automatic control systems,
- Preparation of tender and selection of suitable vendor for project implementation.
Waste to Energy treating 12 MT per day
Waste to Energy treating 12 MT per day of cow-dung and abattoir waste producing 900 Nm3/hr of biogas consisting 65% of methane to be used for boiler firing.
